I made it to London!
The flight heading up here from Switzerland was delayed a total of about 2.5 hours, and the gate changed about 4 times, and our landing was delayed because of "maintenance on the runway", but I made it!
So far I haven't done too much - the person from whom I'm renting my room came and met me at the train station, and then took me back to the apartment. I got all my stuff unpacked, and she showed me where the nearest supermarket is. After being in Switzerland, it's amazing to be able to go shopping on a Saturday after 5PM (and the stores are even open on Sundays!) To finish off the day, we watched German crush Uruguay in the World Cup game for 3rd place.
Today I'll plan to take some pictures!
