Barclays

Barclays is pretty good, so far. Yesterday, the "Global Finance" division had its summer event at some fancy place in London, where I found more and more and more Germans. One of the Germans who had just switched to Barclays from Deutsche Bank (German Bank) said that at least in the London offices, Barclays has more Germans than Deutsche. Sort of funny.

Today, I had a volunteering event with some of the interns. We went to a park in one of the poorer parts of London, and did some gardening / maintenance work.

On Monday, though, it's time to get back to real work!

Westminster

Today I headed out to Westminster, which is on the west side of inner London. My initial goal was to see Chinatown and get some Chinese food, as well as see sights like Buckingham Palace. I managed to see just about all of the things I set out to see.
